Tappy Takes Jamun
Formula Ford Winter Series frontrunner Duncan Tappy is poised to contest the full National Championship with Jamun Racing this season.
The 20-year-old, who made his circuit racing debut in Zip Formula in 2003 before moving into FFord in the Clubmans Zetec championship last year, will race one of the team’s Mygale SJ04s. Charlie Donnelly, who won races with the outfit last year, is a possible team-mate.
Tappy said “We have been working towards this for the last few years and I’m really looking forward to getting out there and going for it – a top three position would be fantastic!”
Tappy raced at national level in last year’s Formula Ford Festival, running strongly in a Steve Mole Motorsport-run Ray.
